Seguimos con nuestra cámara a este gran pescador portugués durante la preparación de su puesto de pesca para la jornada del sábado día 10, y aprovechamos la ocasión para que nos hiciera algunos comentarios sobre la técnica que a priori iba a aplicar en el escenario.

We have observed this great Portuguese angler with our cameras while he was setting up his peg on Saturday 10th. We took the opportunity so that he could comment on some aspects of the tackle he would use for this venue.

Un gran pescador francés que dedicó la jornada a la captura de alburnos; en este vídeo podremos ver los montajes que utiliza, cómo prepara el engodo y cómo maneja la caña en esta pesca de velocidad. Al igual que el resto de las figuras, nos sorprendió con su sencillez y amabilidad.

Here is a great French angler who dedicated the sessions to flick-tip fishing; this video will show the lines he used, how he mixed his groundbait and how he handled his whips for speed fishing. Like the other anglers, we were surprised at how friendly and amiable he was to us.

Nuestro amigo Will no nos podía fallar, y además en esta ocasión le filmamos practicando dos tipos de pesca poco habituales en él: Feeder y alburnos. Madunice y su cámara estuvieron junto al inglés.

Our friend Will wouldn´t let us down, and besides, we had the opportunity to see him fishing two methods he does not use too often: feeder and bleak fishing. Madunice and his camera were next to the Englishman himself.

Poco podemos decir que no sepáis de este grandísimo pescador francés, quien también cedió amablemente a que le acompañáramos mientras preparaba cebos y material. Agradable y simpático como persona, además de hablar en un perfecto castellano, hizo disfrutar a nuestro amigo Sergio de una mañana inolvidable.

Not much to say that has not already been heard about this angler, who let us pay him company while he prepared baits and tackle. He is a pleasant and likeable person, he speaks almost perfect Spanish and, most of all, he made our friend Sergio spend an unforgettable morning.

You’ll have the chance to watch two real masters, Steve Gardener and Simon Willsmore, who can be seen catching a few fish, among them a stunning barbel that weighed more than 5 kilograms on the scales.

Imágenes sobre esta productiva pesca que nos puede resultar sencilla de practicar observando a estos grandes pescadores, pero que entraña cierta dificultad, sobre todo cuando se consiguen pesajes superiores a los 10 kilogramos de estos pequeños pececillos, alcanzándose registros en ocasiones de hasta ¡¡¡7 capturas por minuto!!!

Images on this productive method that, at first sight, may seem easy when we see it being used by these great anglers. However there´s more to it than it first meet the eye, especially when we have to make catches in excess of 10 kilograms of these small species. At times, some of these anglers managed to catch up to 7 fish per minute!
